We are proud to team up with the @kodafoundation and @brewermedia to present Bricktown Throwdown 2020 as an online competition in which all proceeds go to benefit the Family of Lindsey and Matt Adams (please read below for their story). Cost: $45/team 3 Person, same-sex teams Divisions: RX Female, Scaled Female, RX Male, Scaled Male Three workouts will be completed (as a team) between June 5th-6th with the top 10 teams moving on for one more workout on Sunday, June 7th. Tag your teammates & share with your friends. ADAMS FAMILY STORY: Matt Adams, Lindsey Adams, & their daughter Catherine were involved in a major collision on Christmas Eve & sustained very serious life threatening injuries. On January 14th at 3:30am, Lindsey passed away due to complications from the wreck. Matt was just recently released from intensive care and is still battling through injuries sustained in the wreck as well as adjusting to life without Lindsey. Their daughter Catherine was released on December 26th & suffered only minor injuries. Lindsey & Matt were both members of CrossFit HomeBase Central & have been a part of the OKC CrossFit community for over 4 years. They were quickly ready to serve, compete or volunteer and you could always count on seeing them at every local event. Matt & Lindsey both served in the United States Army & continued serving their community through successful medical careers. Matt served as an emergency medical responder & Lindsey was the Facility Care Manager at Hunters Precision RX. With the loss of Lindsey, this family faces a monumental emotional & financial mountain.
