Join CrossFit Little Egypt for BATTLE IN THE BURG 5, a 2-day competition with Rx, Scaled and Masters divisions for teams of 3! Rx and Masters will compete on Saturday, July 13th and Scaled will compete on Sunday, July 14th. Team competitors are guaranteed 4 WODs with the top 5 Rx, Masters, and Scaled competitors competing in a final workout.

Event Information

Join CrossFit Little Egypt for BATTLE IN THE BURG 5, a 2-day competition with Rx, Scaled and Masters divisions for teams of 3! Rx and Masters will compete on Saturday, July 13th and Scaled will compete on Sunday, July 14th. Team competitors are guaranteed 4 WODs with the top 5 Rx, Masters, and Scaled competitors competing in a final workout. NOTE: There is a change this year to the Masters division. Your age must total 130, with a minimum age of 40. Make sure to look at the weight standards. When programming, the level of complexity for this particular competition is Rx – Scaled – Masters. If you can perform multiple reps of the weighted movements at the weight listed below and are able to do at least 5 Reps of the gymnastics movements at the difficulty listed below go with prescribed (Rx). Not everyone on your team of 3 will have to do each movement. Muscle ups may be in the final workout and only one of your team members will need to be able to perform them. The below standards are for working reps. We will have a strength workout that will progress in weight: Movement Rx Scaled Masters Deadlift 225/155 185/125 155/105 Clean and Jerk 135/95 115/75 95/65 Snatch 135/95 115/75 95/65 Thruster 125/85 115/75 95/65 Pull-Ups YES YES NO Dumbbell Work 55/35 45/25 35/25 Toes to Bar YES MODIFIED NO Doubles Unders YES DU or SU DU or SU Box Jumps YES YES YES Pistols YES NO NO We can’t put every possible movement out there (like burpees and running and smiles), so be prepared for some fun events and some potential surprises, especially for the Floater and FINAL workout. ALSO be prepared for a max effort lift or a strength that progresses in weight.
