Event Information

Athens Throwdown 2020 is an international fitness event organised in Olympic Stadium of Taekwondo & Handball, Athens, Greece, including an individual and a team edition. Registrations open on 1st November 2019, online qualifiers take place between 15-31 January 2020 and live finals take place on 3-4-5 April 2020 with more than 1.000 competitors! Winners share a minimum total cash prize of 41.900 euros.

Individual Athletes

There will be 3 qualification WODs which will be announced on 15/01/2020, 09:00 (Greek local time). All athletes must submit their scores until 31/01/2020, 23:59 (Greek local time). The 540 best athletes of the qualifiers will be invited in Athens, Greece for the finals. Winners share a minimum total cash prize of 31.400 euros.

Team Athletes

The first 70 Elite Teams and 84 Scaled Teams to register will be invited in Athens, Greece for the finals. Winners share a minimum total cash prize of 10.500 euros.

All individual athletes and all teams compete in all three days of the finals!
