CrossFit is a workout like you have never experienced before. It is a mixture of weightlifting, gymnastics, and endurance movements put together into a different combination every day. It’s this “constantly varied” approach that keeps people from getting bored of the day to day grind you experience at a traditional gym. It is also what fosters such great results!! Whether you are looking to lose weight, get stronger and faster, or just be able to run after your kids, CrossFit is sure to be the solution you have been looking for! PLUS, there is a community spirit in a CrossFit gym that cannot be matched anywhere else. People know you and expect to see you at classes, which makes the motivation to get off the couch and into the gym even stronger. But I am injured/out of shape/ not an athlete/ any other excuse in the book… CrossFit is 100% scalable for ANY fitness level. The needs of an elite athlete and an average Joe differ only by the degree of the exercise, not the type of exercise! Every CrossFit movement has various levels and it is the responsibility of the coach to help you find what is challenging, but attainable for you. Also, CrossFit uses functional movements that mimic how we step, stand and move throughout our life. By doing this type of exercise, not only will you get in better shape… you will improve the way you move and perform in your daily routine!
