CrossFit Lorton is a 10,000 facility at 7406-D Lockport Place in Lorton Va. Founded in 2008 CrossFit Lorton is one of the first 400 CrossFit affiliates in the world (there are currently over 12,000) and one of the first 4 affiliates in Northern Virginia. What this means to you is experience, no one in the area has taught more classes or worked with more athletes than CrossFit Lorton. Whether you are a beginner or competitive athlete this experience will help you become better whether that is improving your health, losing weight or becoming a highly competitive CrossFit athlete. Here are the main reasons to choose an affiliate: Coaching No one has coached more classes or worked with more athletes than our coaching staff. We only hire coaches from within the gym who meet our rigorous standards. Whether you are just starting out or have been CrossFitting for years our coaching staff can help you to improve and get the results you are after. Community CrossFit Lorton is a diverse community that really has a lot of fun together. From Charity workouts to parties to competitions to events the Community is what keeps everything together. Coach Glassman, the founder of CrossFit described it as Agony mixed with laughter and I think that is a perfect saying for what we do. Location Just off Telegraph Road between Route 1 and Fairfax County Parkway CrossFit Lorton is centrally located in Southern Fairfax County. We are the closest affiliate to Lorton, Ft. Belvoir, Kingstowne and are only a short drive from Burke, Springfield and Woodbridge. Programming Anyone can create a WOD and make you break a sweat, that is not our goal at CrossFit Lorton. Our goal is to use scientific methods to make you a stronger person, this translates to you being healthier and a better CrossFitter. We run a structured strength program based on some of the top coaches in the industry. Any affiliate can get you a workout but not everyone can help you month after month hit PRs and become consistently stronger in everything you do. Facility CrossFit Lorton is the largest and best equipped gym in the area bar none. We have worked tirelessly to make this new facility one of the top in the world! Programs CrossFit Lorton offers a wide array of programs. We have over 37 CrossFit Classes a week. We offer a CrossFit Kids program, CrossFit Teens, Olympic Weightlifting Classes and starting this October a new class called Movement which will be a Hybrid CrossFit (No Barbell/Yoga/Mobility Class). Childcare For you parents we have FREE Childcare during our 9:30 AM and 5:00 PM class as well. Dedication Many affiliates are run as a part time job not CrossFit Lorton. Since its inception CrossFit Lorton has been my full time job, all of my time goes directly into making the gym better. Most affiliates are done as part time jobs, at CrossFit Lorton I devote 100% of my time to making you better!
