Description

The technique of performing Atlas Stone Carry:

The first phase of the exercise is the same to the deadlift exercise; therefore the technique of performing Atlas Stone Carry is similar to the deadlift technique. Keep lumbar curve maintained and pay special attention to synchronous work of the legs and back.

Initial position:

- Stand up straight, place the stone in front of you

- Bend over, bending your legs, and grasp the stone as hard as you can. Keep your back as straight as possible.

 Performing the exercise:

- Raise the stone and put it on your hips, then try to cuddle up to the stone as tightly as possible with the whole body

- Clutching the stone with your hands, stand up so that the stone rests on the chest.

- Make a small deflection in the lower back to balance the body.

- While performing the movement, leave your legs always slightly bent, this will save your knees from injury.

- Because of the heavy workload, it's best to do short and fast steps.

- At the end of the movement, lower the stone to the floor, make sure that it will not catch your knees and feet while lowering.

Contraindications:

It is not recommended for complicated forms or exacerbation of the lumbar spine.
